Scent of Nightshade

I barely slept that night, since Elaine worked so hard for our Research assignment, it makes me feel kinda obliged to work as hard as she did. Plus, i was busy playing whole evening while she’s working very hard. I didn’t dare to tell her that i was busy playing since our assignment is due in approximately 12 hours. But she probably would have figured it out since it took me hours to reply her messages and also that she knows my habit pretty well. After finished playing, it kinda made me feel guilty for not lending her a hand at all. I couldn’t let her suffer because of my laziness. So i stayed up whole night editting our assignment. By sunrise, i declared that damned assignment complete……

I overslept, so i missed the bus. That kinda scared Elaine a lil cause she thought i wouldn’t turn up to hand in our assignment, when i told her i overslept, she just giggled & said i worked too hard. It took me around 40 minutes to travel to the Peninsular campus. I showed her our completed work before we went to hand it in. She told me that we probably need to include a few of the completed survey form. So we went to get a confirmation from our lecturer. I nearly faint when my nasty lecturer told me that i need to include ALL of our completed survey form. That’s 50 set of 5 pages survey forms! The reason i did the survey online is so that i don’t have to waste any $$ printing 250 pages of crap! I felt like murdering that lecturer, she’s been giving me nothing but headache & sarcastic remarks whole semester. Good thing we managed to finished that crappy assignment in time. It’s the most ridiculously expensive assignment in my entire life! I spent like 20 bucks on it! I never wanna see that damned lecturer ever again.

Handing in that assignment didn’t help much to reduce my burden. Right after that i need to hand in another assignment. On the other hand, this assignment is the most flexible one i ever have. I can practically write anything under the sun. Tragically, it’s also a group assignment. Since my partner was a lil panic about our work, she kinda dragged me to her block, tied me down to a chair, sit in front of me & make sure i work on the assignment whole day & night long. By night, my friends begun messaging me to join their games. I can slightly imagine their reaction when i told them "My partner tied me down to a chair & is watching me to make sure i’m doing my work". Working 12 hours non stop is suffering T_T I need to escape!!

It sure is a long while since i last came here. The new semester came along with a wonderful new life and many great new discoveries, at the cost of a disastrous academic life. From the usual "4 - 5 days of classes a week", it became a "2 days of classes a week". So i practically have 25 hours of classes, with only pathetic 4 breaks in between. I get only 1 hour for the first 3 breaks and 11 hours for the last break. Plus, there are usually no sleep in between. Despite the "apparently very free" time table…….assignments were crap, homeworks are piling up, lecturers are getting pissed, missions are still incomplete, textbooks are still in their plastic wrappers (more or less), brain is still empty and is very likely to remain empty for quite sometime. Thus, i am screwed.

It’s like a blardy curse, ever since few years ago, apparently i will fall sick once a semester! It’s really paining my butt like hell! This semester is no exception, fell sick for 4 friggin days. Just when i thought the curse was broken the moment i left my burning country, i was friggin wrong. Damn unlucky, it was like a plague. Three other kids living near me got it as well. Thanks to that plague, i’m still cursed. Having a fever during the winter is really omfg shyte! Even the heater in my room can barely save me, thus the idea of seeking a doctor out in middle of the cold is a OMFG TALK TO MY FINGER HELL NO NO. Seriously, i can’t imagine getting a fever in the colder region.

The first night was the worst, my body was emitting so much heat that if you put anything flamable near me, it’ll burst into blue flames. So i ransacked my room to look for a piece of cloth to cooldown my forehead. I can’t find anything suitable, in the end i took my socks, wet it & put it on my forehead >.< After a few hours, i puked like a waterfall in my toilet. Shyte, now i need to clean up the toilet…..damn, just kill me already. Somehow i felt way better after puking & showering, so i managed to go to sleep.

The next day, my head was still dizzy & my body is kinda weak. The cold wasn’t that bad anymore, but i definitely cannot survive the winter outside. While i was bedridden, suddenly a happy Kitty called me to declare that she’s finally exam free. So i asked her to buy some Panadol for me even though i was feeling better already just in case.

Third day already & my condition didn’t change at all. Body still weak & can’t stand the cold. Plus i barely have any appetite to eat at all. I still haven’t take the Panadol cause usually i rather suffer than taking Panadols. Also, i just can’t swallow pills…..i always have to take medicine in liquid form, the one meant for 7 years old & below. Finally, at the end of the 4th day, i gave up. Raised my white flag & took two Panadols as usual. Can’t swallow that shyte, so i chew it like bubblegum =_=!! Thanks to that, I got so used to the bitter taste of pills. Therefore, on the 5th day, i’m fully recovered & can fly healthily back home.

It’s finally that time of the semester again, the calm period after the stressful exams. It’s the time where the emptiness of life starts to creep in & you’ll wander around aimlessly, feeling like you’ve lost your purpose in life. Made me feel a lil lifeless. This semester exam was the worst, THREE omfg days of crappy exams in a row. Worst part is, the exam venue is 40 train ride minutes or 90 bus ride minutes away from my room. Travelling up & down for THREE omfg days of crappy exams in a row is purely insane in the membrane. So i camped in Kevin’s place which is only 15 walking minutes away from the exam venue for THREE omfg days in a row.

My exam begin on a Monday, so i left for Kevin’s place Sunday evening. At first, i missed the train by 1 friggin minute! The moment i reached the station was the moment the train arrived. Darn! Gotta wait for at least half hour before the next one comes. Then heaven just gotta add more oil to the fire, so right after i messaged Kevin saying that i’m delayed for at least half an hour, there’s an announcement saying there was an accident at one of the train station thus all train will be delayed, wtf-ness. Thanks to that i have to use the shuttle bus provided to get to my last stop because all train station near the accident area were closed. What a bad start for a journey to war, in the end i was delayed for nearly 2 hours. If only i arrived a minute earlier, all those shyte won’t happen.

Poor Kevin, for 3 nights in a row he gotta sleep with the lights on because i don’t sleep at night. Then i built a nest at a corner of his room, really made myself at home & messed up the whole place leeching his stuffs like a parasite >.< By the end of the third day, i was so eager to go back that i left Kevin’s place in a total mess, ehe. Now that my exams are finally over, got that usual empty feelings. Screw that, it’s gonna be for a brief period only. It’s time to PARTY day in & day out, go out pimping with the aussie chicks, fly here & there, whack people like there’s no tomorrow & feast like a pig!!! Yea!! I would like to thank Tina & Small Girl for being there & making sure i’m alright throughout the exams, thank Cover Girl for giving me exam tips, thank Kevin for allowing me to wreck havoc in his place, thank Roachie for paining my butt & giving me lotsa headache & everyone who was there for me! Thank you! *take a bow*

It was that time of the semester again. Few weeks of suffering. Just like PMS, it comes once a semester & its paining my butt everytime it comes. This semester is definitely the worst, i had 4 assignments due in the same week! Additionally, i got Kitty & Hebe keep on hunting for me to help them with their assignments. It’s kinda funny sometimes, how history can find ways to repeat itself. Kitty always calls me into her room to help & check on her assignments even though i’m not doing her subjects at all. Well, at least it’s better than doing an engineering assignment like that time, totally outta my course >.< And it’s very funny seeing Kitty & Hebe acting cute all the time when they tried to express their thoughts. Owing to all that, by the week my assignments are due, i practically stayed up many nights rushing on my assignments switching from one subject to another when i got too sick of it. If i were to stay up few more nights, not even a consealer can save my sad panda eyes.

Now the torturing week was finally over, no more assignments due for this semester. But that’s not really a good thing cause assignments are like a lighthouse in the middle of a sea; it indicates that the exams are still far away. Nevertheless, can’t help relaxing a lil. Yesterday Mudsher & Lieubey max out their friday night fever. They bought several bottles of wines & some liquor. Then at night after dinner, they had a drinking party with Eevee, Candy & Daffy. Usually i would join them with my chocolate milk, but then i forgot to ask them to buy me drinks as well i.e my usual chocolate milk, so i don’t really feel like joining them as i’m pretty sure they’ll stuff me with their potions…..poison……cocktails instead. By midnight, i was happily msn-ing all the way while the drinking party starts, Eevee was the first one who surrendered & went to bed after an hour or so. Then Daffy joined around 3am but few hours later she got wasted & dragged herself back to her room too. Finally around 5am, Candy passed out on the table & then puked, then Mudsher & Lieubey practically gotta dragged her all the way back to her room. Apparently she was competing with Mudsher but got pwned BIG time & was totally wasted. It’s funny though, seeing her laughing all the way happily. Even after we put her on her bed, she was still smiling & laughing all the way. This is the best part i like about drinking, seeing drunkards doing stupid stuffs. Lieubey was the last man standing, with barely any sign of drunkness even after like 4 bottles of wines & beers & vodkas & dunno-what-else-they-had.

I don’t really know what exactly happened, but it seems like Candy was in a pretty bad shape despite all her laughing & smiling. Since i’m the only one who didn’t drink, i was asked to watch over Candy. So I stayed up all night to look after her until noon & the blardy weather made things worse. One moment it was freezing cold, another moment it was friggin warm. Like people always say, there are 4 seasons in a day in Melbourne. Thanks to that, i gotta turn Candy’s heater on & off all the time to control her room temperature. Looking after her was actually a torture…..cause there in front of me, lies a totally drunk babe sleeping like a log that i doubt she would remember anything that night. Woah, so tempting……but dunno why i was such a goodie good boi that i didn’t even lay a finger on her. Maybe it wasn’t a full moon, so i didn’t transform into a "hungry wolf", haha. By 1pm, when i came back to check on her, she’s still dead on her bed but then i noticed something…….the cup of warm water was gone & there’s a lil note saying "thank you" & telling me that she’s alright. Woah, so dangerous, she was actually conscious & was testing me. Lucky i didn’t eat her, ehe >.<

I really don’t know why, everytime i go to a supermarket, i’ll definitely shop for at least an hour if possible even though i’ve just done my groceries shopping few days ago. My friend called me an implusive shopper. Not that i got too much $$ to throw or i hit jackpot in Crown Casino, it’s most probably because the stuffs that i’m buying are mainly food, so they’re kinda a necessity. Therefore, no guilt for spending too much, either i spend or starve to death! *maniacal laughter*. So i really can’t imagine if i have the $$ & i’m thrown into a shopping mall >.<

Yesterday, two of my friends, Mudsher & Lieubey had an insane idea. Hence, today during groceries shopping, we stopped by the liquor shop. They bought two bottles of red wine i think, one cheap & one expensive just to play around. 21 years hass passed by, and my body is still an alcohol free zone. On ther other hand, my friends were kinda like heavy drinkers, in the sense that they drink pretty often back home. Knowing that they won’t let me go so easily especially when they want more drinker kaki & their reasoning were good; "When u go out & work next time, u need to drink a lot if u got meeting with clients, boss etc. If u don’t drink as well, that means u didn’t give face". Despite all that, i still don’t wanna start drinking. I know wines are good but i still don’t like the idea of drinking alcohol. The smell of alcohol frightens me off, but the main reason is i don’t like the idea of getting drunk, it’s like being possessed…..spooky……So not wanting to give up so easily, during dinner time, i slipped away into Kitty’s room & just help her do her assignments. After a few hours, i suggested Kitty to see Lieubey since he’s taking that subject as well, so her could help her better in her assignment. Thinking that they should have finish drinking their wines already, i brough Kitty into my block…..Well at least i thought so, both of them kinda like just started! With chocolate cakes & snacks to go with their wine some more! So in the end, me, Lieubey, Kitty & Mudsher drink, talk & eat till midnight. I managed to escape by drinking my green tea and having Kitty to drink on my behalf >.< She didn’t drink a lot cause she too, dislike alcohol but I got a chic to drink for me! I’m such a monster *maniacal laughter* So Lieubey & Mudsher finished two bottles of wine by themselves. Mudsher turned into a tipsy lobster but Lieubey didn’t evolve. He’s drunk but he’s good at acting normal >.< Now i need to keep on looking for reasons to escape from their alcohol.

"PC maker Dell Inc. said on its Web site Thursday it will once again let home PC buyers choose between Microsoft Corp.’s older operating system and Windows Vista when they purchase certain new machines. 

Dell, like many computer makers, stopped offering XP on most home desktops and laptops soon after Vista launched at the end of January.   

By late March, the company said only two models aimed at home users could be configured with XP (the option still existed on many models for business users). 

But on Dell’s IdeaStorm Web site, where visitors can post suggestions for the company and vote on the ones they think are important, a plea titled "Don’t eliminate XP just yet” racked up more than 10,700 votes. 

"We heard you loud and clear on bringing the Windows XP option back to our Dell consumer PC offerings,” Dell responded in a Web posting Thursday. 

The company said it will immediately offer XP again as an option for four models of its Inspiron notebooks and two models of its Dimension desktop PCs. 

This comes just weeks after Dell said it is also planning to offer PCs with Linux, a free operating system that competes with Windows. 

"This is really odd,” said Michael Silver, research vice president at Gartner. "On new PCs, consumers usually do want the latest and greatest.” 

Microsoft countered that Dell’s move was in response to a "small minority of customers” with a "specific request.”   

Michael Burk, a product manager for Microsoft’s Windows Client group, said in an e-mailed statement, "The vast majority of consumers want the latest and greatest technology, and that includes Windows Vista.” 

Michael Gartenberg, vice president and research director of JupiterResearch, said many consumers continue to buy XP because it is familiar, it works with their existing hardware and programs, and is overall "good enough,” even though Vista boasts a prettier user interface and stronger security. 

"Microsoft is going to have to work hard to make sure that even if companies like Dell are offering XP, their customers don’t want it,” Gartenberg said. 

Now is time for the company to crank up Vista marketing, but that may be harder than it sounds."

YES!! Dell is right! Windows Vista is a giant piece of shyte! Everyone should just stick to XP. Vista’s very pretty & sexy but friggin hopeless & annoying as well. Stronger security they said, yea it’s "so safe" that it practically blocks everything from getting into your pc. Yup, that’s too safe already to the point that it’s paining my butt. Most of current programs isn’t competible with it. So that means i can’t use the only working download engine that can bypass the university’s firewall. Can’t download my favourite movies anymore, boohoo T_T

Just came back from a holiday trip to Mornington during Easter. It’s a coastal area which is filled with beautiful beaches. After studying for 3 semesters, that was the first time i actually enjoy a mid-semester break. Before this, my mid-semester breaks were filled with assignments! More like a break from the usual lectures & class to fully focus on assignments =_=!! Well, actually this semester break would probably ended up just like the previous ones if it weren’t for Cheezzie & Suki who made all the effort to plan a holiday trip, shame on me for not doing anything. They really can be a holiday consultant cause they actually planned everything, from the accomodations to transports & visiting places. My part was to appear……that’s it >.< Cheers to the planners!

The problem bout me is, i tend to forget the name of the places that i’ve visited. So well, i’ve actually visited Mornington 2 years ago when i came to Melbourne for a holiday. At first, the journey there looks friggin familiar so it was kinda nostalgic. Only when we actually reached the tourist spots, i fully remembered my previous trip. Nevertheless, despite the fact that i’ve been to some of the places, we did visit new areas. We didn’t do much because most of the places are close by 5pm. So at night, we just watch tv & play games in our rented apartment.

So well, on the first day, 6 kids (Me, Kevin, Suki, Cheezzie & 2 other friends of Cheezzie) left the city around 2pm in 2 rented cars. We didn’t do much that day because we arrived there around 4pm. So we just walked around the beach cause our apartment was a beach front apartment. Cheezzie was busy camwhoring all the way, no surprise there >.< While, What’s surprising was, there’s no bikini babes anywhere near the beach!! There’s barely anyone there & the ones i saw were either too young or too old for me. Sadness, so i ended up playing with the sand by myself T_T At night, we played Uno in the room that i was sharing with Kevin. I really hate anything that gotta do with cards or luck cause the cards hate me & i got no luck at all, NONE! It’s proven beyond reasonable doubt already. Cards just hate me for who knows wtf! That explains why i hate gambling as well cause to me, it’s more like donating money. Addiontionally, ultra kiasu Suki won’t let us sleep until she wins >.< Besides losing like shyte continously, Suki also has been sitting on my pillow all the while & rubbing her butt all over it. Hence i ended up smelling Suki’s butt all night long =_=!!

Second day, in the morning, try to imagine 6 kids……4 ekor girls & 2 ekor guys sharing one toilet cum bathroom; disaster. Second days are usually the most interesting one for any typical 3D/2N trips. We drove up Red Hill to Arthur’s Seat for a nice view of the town below. Then went to a strawberry-less strawberry farm to pick strawberry. While the others were busy shopping, i just eat my chocolate ice cream. Yes i know the ironic of eating a chocolate ice cream in a strawberry farm but i just like chocolates, that’s it. After getting lost & making U-turns here & there, we finally reached our second stop; a maze. There’s 3 mazes altogether with 3 different difficulties. Got lost in the 2nd maze & nearly cry in the 3rd one. Third stop was another beach, this one definitely must be a compensation for the day before’s major disappointment as this beach is filled with sexy bikini babes sun bathing & playing around!!! *drools*. If it wasn’t for the burning hot sun that nearly melt me, i wouldn’t wanna leave the beach at all and can go find those sexy(s). After lunch, we decided to go back but on the way, we passed by a sand sculpture exhibition by the beach. I can’t resist fine arts, so we stopped by & have a look. Those sand sculptures/carvings were huge & magnificent. Then as we walked around the jetty, i spotted a cute lil pelican floating near a small jetty. I rush to take pictures of it & then suddenly kevin found the omfg the biggest stingray in my entire life swimming right below the jetty. Two of them, one was BIGGER THAN ME while the other was slightly smaller. The water was only around 1 meter deep but there’s giant stingrays!! It’s big enough to be a 6 month supply of grilled stingray! That night, we played Monopoly instead & as usual i friggin lost like mad. No, it’s not that i’ma total dumbnut in it, it’s the fact that i just can’t land on any empty property BUT got the tendacy to land on hotels filled properties =_=!!
